To bring awareness to May’s Mental Health Awareness Month Sound Mind Live hired SLOWKEY as a consulting Director of Partnerships & Creative Activations for the 2024 Block Party & YouTube stream.

Mission was to break the stigmas around mental health & spread brand awareness for the nonprofit. 85% of audiences surveyed reported being more informed about mental health support & resources as a result of the event.

Featured 20 musical acts | 34 nonprofit partners | 10 panelists & speakers | 8 food vendors

Brand partners included YouTube, Monster Energy, Kit NA Brewing, AbbVie, Alkermes, Sage Therapeutics, Lundbeck, Society of Sound Minds, Guayakí Yerba Mate, Everyone Products, National Endowment for the Arts, Curious Elixirs & Tost

Results: 5,000 attendees | 80K streaming impressions | 452M overall impressions & a priceless experience to empower musicians & creatives to embrace their mental health journey & find healing/community through music. Sound Mind was so impressed with SLOWKEY’s work they hired her to support with the September 12th 2024 opening of the new Sound Mind Center in Dumbo. Work included guest list curation, art installations, sound x tech activations & more.

LIVE NATION MEDIA SUPPORT

Festivals have a tremendous amount of ground to cover from audience, talent, special appearances, vendor booths, branded activations & more. SLOWKEY has a trained eye to support media teams with delivering & expanding upon their shot lists for the festival as well as participating partners. Being a model & personality herself, SLOWKEY is organically spots talent & alluring moments for photo & video teams to shoot for major music & event companies like Live Nation.

OVERTIME & STATE FARM

To celebrate the NBA Draft, Mirror Agency was looking for an experiential home to activate a next level production. SLOWKEY supported Mirror Agency in partnering with a projection mapped venue as well as ideated, pitched, closed & helped activate a 360 immersive experience unlike any in Draft history.

Guests walked into a futuristic space complete with a full-size interactive half court for showing off shooting skills for talent & guests. The space was able to facilitate red carpet interviews, celebrities, Draft talent, press, a highly curated F&B program in partnership with Sweet Chick, custom airbrushed apparel, DJs, slam dunk competitions & more.

 
 

US Open Video Content

During the US Open/ESPN streams original content for millions of viewers watching via TV & court-side. ESPN was looking to activate a branded content partnership for it’s “Electrify” campaign that would electrify existing & newer audiences.

SLOWKEY & Director Sammy Silver ideated, pitched & produced a motivational commercial honoring the pain, the triumph & the sportsmanship needed for all respected performers from the tennis court to the aerial ring within the infamous Brooklyn nightclub House of Yes.

Whether competing on the court or entertaining in the air, we are unified in our passion for greatness. House of Yes is a safe haven for expression & the LGBTQIA+ community. The campaign was a huge success in promoting unity around queer athletes & queer communities.

Museum of Footballs

To unite international football “soccer” fans for the 2022 World Cup, SLOWKEY was contracted to support with creating an immersive online fan experience. SLOWKEY & Chris Miles (vSpace) helped 3D scan footballs used throughout World Cup history creating a virtual “Museum of Footballs” that adjusted to the virtual guests language. The immersive world held player meet & greets, fan club meet ups, virtual tours, gamified experiences & more. To draw people into the virtual world, vSpace created interactive AR filters that promoted team pride & friendly football competitions that lead people to find the unique & mobile friendly virtual museum.

3x expected audience attendance & engagement.


Samsung x KAIMIN Hybrid Fashion Show

KAIMIN is known for edgy looks, pushing boundaries & bridging cultural divides. They dress fashion icons inlcuding Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Bjork, Nicki Minaj & more.

KAIMIN teamed up with Japanese Anime Artist MITSUME to launch a “Phygital” [Physical & Digital] collection & needed an equally bold, professional & hardworking Creative Director & Producer to pull off this multi-layered launch.

SLOWKEY was contracted to ideate & produce a hybrid art & fashion show for the collection launch that would connect the digital & physical realms for local & international press, influencers, celebrities & consumers. SLOWKEY forged a partnership with Samsung to utilize their NYC HQ for an IRL Fashion Show that was multi-cam live-streamed into both a bespoke vSpace environment & Samsung’s Decentraland plot. SLOWKEY brought on onsite beverage & creative tech partners as well as ideated & produced commission-free music for the live-streamed & rebroadcasted fashion show.

All within the 9-minute fashion show, MITSUME is epically live drawing new work.

RESULTS:

  • The collection became a hit with celebrity stylists for Cardi B & Doja Cat who later wore the collection for Art Basel Miami

  • KAIMIN was able to host international fans & influencers from Japan, Korea, Europe, South America, Canada & across the US resulting in increased sales for digital merch

  • 326K total impressions across all social 76K total unique accounts reached across all social

  • 30x more attendees in vSpace > Decentraland due to accessibility & frictionless experiences

VIKOR&ROLF IRL-TO-URL PERFUME LAUNCH

For the holiday season, L’Oréal wanted to bring buzz & innovation to the perfume launch of Vikor&Rolf’s most sensual scent yet, Ruby Orchid.

SLOWKEY ideated, pitched, closed & produced a hybrid NeoBurlesque Show with Miss Fame & House of Yes inside the iconic Brooklyn venue that was live-streamed into the venue’s virtual twin.

Live stream was then edited for a 2-week consumer-facing experience.

SLOWKEY & vSpace creatively directed & produced a unique IRL-to-URL event catering to both the VIPs exclusivity needs & consumers accessibility desires. The team created a multi-sensory experience exclusivity onsite at House of Yes for beauty influencers & press that was virtually available for L’Oréal’s international influencers & growing global digital audience.

RESULTS:

  • Pre-Sold out perfume 3 days into the campaign

  • 34M+ Impressions [3x above company average]

Prophets Over Profits: Femme Forward Festival

7th annual fundraiser was one for the books featuring 6 dynamic femme-forward musical acts including Lion Babe, SUSU, Big Body Kweeng, Synead, Hannah Noelle & Miss Sabado. The family-friendly daytime event hosted over 1,500 people in a sprawling 360 projection-mapped venue hosting vendors, art by The Locker Room & 10 female comedians from SNL, The Late Show & more.

Ideated, planned, hosted, promoted & produced all by SLOWKEY & an army of volunteers. All profits went directly to Girls Write Now supporting girls, trans & gender expansive youth with creative writing classes to support diverse authors, afterschool programs & job placement for tomorrow’s storytellers.

 
 

Perrier x House of Yes Mural Competition

House of Yes is located in the artist hub of Bushwick, Brooklyn off the bustling Jefferson stop L train. Inspired by the success of Perrier’s previous street artist campaigns, House of Yes & SLOWKEY ideated, pitched & closed a Mural Competition digital campaign that invited artists to submit their designs to win a cash prize & the tremendous mural real estate.

The campaign saw unprecedented success, going viral as House of Yes followers continued tagging & sharing the opportunity with their favorite artists. Shawna X’s original design was selected as the winner which Colossal Murals painted & strategically displayed during Bushwick Open Studios fall block party.

During the block party Perrier flavored sparkling water was handed out by House of Yes “Flavor Queens” who thematically embodying each available flavor.

PRIVATE 50th BIRTHDAY - WYCLEF Jean

SLOWKEY had the privilege of meeting Heads Music Founder Madeline Nelson at AdWeek. Ms. Nelson manages various artists including Wyclef Jean who was looking for tasteful & unique performances for his special event.

SLOWKEY worked closely with the House of Yes team to ideate & activate spectacle moments layered throughout the intimate NYC-based event. The honorable Wyclef himself got into the House of Yes aerial ring at the end of the night sending guests into a joyous frenzy.


FNT X MATTE PROJECTS 

FNT was a reimagining of sanctioned combat sport culture through the MATTE lens. Fighters across disciplines like Muay Thai, MMA & K1 traded punches in the ring, surrounded by a crowd energized by musical performances by Cam'Ron, DJ set by A-Trak & theatrical performances by Team Kitty Koalition

SLOWKEY ideated, pitched & closed a strategic partnership for the underdogs in the underground.  Understanding all parties needs SLOWKEY strategically placed Teeling Whiskey in the FNT VIP to activate a tasting experience for influential attendees including A$AP Rocky, Alexander Wang, Hanne Gabby, Allanah Arrington & others. Teelings was estatic about the clever product placement, content creation & exposure. 

Set within Williamsburg Hotel's cavernous ballroom, 1,000 attendees danced & watched eight exhilarating fights while experiencing Teeling at either of the hotel's (2) GA bars. Due to the success of the partnership, MATTE continue’s to work with Teelings.

BOILER ROOM X LEVIS

In partnership with Levi’s, Boiler Room created a “DIY Artist Call Out” campaign to highlight boundary pushing artists that show style & attitude. The night kicked off with open decks, where up-and-coming acts like DJ/producer ali rq warmed up the crowd. Followed by an amalgamation of live performance genres & aesthetics curated by Snow Strippers, a duo now synonymous with the pulse of NYC’s music scene, alongside EvilGiane, EERA, Anna Luna & DJ Sausha.

SLOWKEY is a trusted producer & curator by the Boiler Room team & has connected them with venues & production talent in Miami, New York, etc. For the Levi’s campaign SLOWKEY provided ideas on how to tastefully amplify the Levi brand on site without turning off the Boiler Room audience.

 

BOOK CLUB RADIO

Keeping a finger on the pulse, SLOWKEY, connected with the internet’s rising Gen Z music collective Book Club Radio to help ideate & produce a timeless Twlight Zone experience.

A collective focused on no-phone dance floors, thematic events & promoting an environment where the people are the focus vs the DJ. Book Club Radio has gone viral multiple times which in 2024 they went from humble online crew to opening up the infamous electronic stage at Coachella. They’ve grown almost 500,000 subscribers on YouTube & use Discord as their direct & primary means of communicating with their community.

Brooklinen + Blanket Fort

Mission manifest block party! Prior to SLOWKEY joining House of Yes, the venue was unsuccessful in getting a block party approved. Luckily SLOWKEY communicated with the Bushwick residents & Mayors Office to open up the outdoor fun floodgates! Within the first year of employment SLOWKEY successfully launched HOY’s first block party that laid the foundation for 3 more within that same year.

Through clever brand activations SLOWKEY was able to create a free event for neighbors & artists. Via brand partnerships SLOWKEY closed over $50K with branded Box Truck Live Paintings, Online Social Contests, mystic corner & a crowd favorite the “Brooklinen + Blanket Fort” lounge.

SLOWKEY devised a day lounge using Brooklinen sheets, pillows, rugs & drag queen as sleepover captains to create a cozy oasis for kids & adults to relax during the bustling block party. Guests were pampered & rejuvenated with fresh scents & sheets before embarking on the busy day.

BURGER KING INFLUENCER DINNER

To promote Burger King’s new spicy menu fire performers were hired to create a “fire breathing” performance & interactive experience for foodie influencer guests.

In partnership with Kraft PR, SLOWKEY supported the agency in ideating & producing all experiential elements & needs from FDNY fire proofing protocols, permitting, projection mapping design, event design, NY foodie influencer invites, immersive center pieces & more.

 
 

BARRON DAVIS x ART BASEL

SLOWKEY organically has relationships with influential folks including NBA Basketball Star Barron Davis. Barron was looking for a creative & impactful way to launch his wine “Personal Stash”. SLOWKEY ideated, pitched, closed & activated a private happy hour for Barron at a gorgeous Miami home that was rented with art & vibe set by Locker Room, DJs, A/V production, invites to influential guests including Octavia Yearwood (see seen in video), F&B curation, etc.

Barron was so pleased with the intimacy & curation, SLOWKEY has support future projects.


Perrier Holiday Activation

Integrated Perrier Flavors & Perrier Cocktails into the 7th annual House of Yes Xmas Spectacular, introducing the audience to Perrier through an interactive“Naughty or Nice” sampling booth. Included Perrier as presenting partner in show promotion from ticketing pages, printed programs, social media mentions, content creation & more. Experience was covered by press & helped the brand create new audience segments/profiles via the extensive show run & sampling interactive games & questions.

Atlantic Records Album Release

Atlantic Records album release for singer & songwriter Tayla Parx. SLOWKEY ideated with Parx creative team to produce a digital & experiential campaign. Pulling influence from Parx’s “We Need To Talk” album the team gave life through immersive visual integrations using video mapping & lighting design. Parx was safely rigged in the air with a custom designed skirt that was projected onto with elements from her album. When guests entered & filled the main room, the exaggerated skirt (25 ft) dropped & revealed joyful performers & characters that got the crowd dancing.

In partnership with Reebok & New Amsterdam Vodka SLOWKEY was able to ideate, produce & execute on all partner’s KPIs while greeting celebrities, arranging photo ops & recreating signature looks from Parx’s music videos.

The project was ideated, pitched, closed, & activated via SLOWKEY & House of Yes all within 2 weeks.

Prophets over Profits

SLOWKEY’s annual fundraiser Prophets Over Profits raised money for the artists & activists within Nightlife & Entertainment most impacted by the Pandemic.

Utilizing vSpace, SLOWKEY produced a virtual festival that featured an eCommerce market & 4-hour pre-recorded concert with music videos, DJ sets, performances, discussions, & more.

Artists included SOFI TUKKER. Lion Babe, Lena Hall + Dave Navarro, Kat Cunning, Jadalareign, Synead, Madame Vivien V, Pixel the Drag Witch + 50 other ARTivists donating their music videos, sets + skits to raise funds + create exposure for one another.

Conscious conversations & educational skits hosted by SLOWKEY, Pixel the Drag Witch Lucie Zhang (Vogue / AAPI Organizer) & Sierra Mohammed (Legal @ ACLU)

RESULTS:

  • 75% of guests stayed 3+ hours (Industry Benchmark for virtual events ~30 minutes)  

  • 80% of eCommerce market items sold


MOULIN ROUGE OF PARIS 

SLOWKEY single handedly out beat other PR firms on ideating, pitching, negotiating & closing an experiential campaign with the infamous Moulin Rouge of Paris. This was an monumental monent as it was the first time the Moulin Rogue came to NYC in their 126 years.

For the campaign the Moulin Rouge aligned with the Taste of France event in Times Square with performances & promoting of their show. Sponsored by AirFrance 

This was a tremendous PR move as it was also the year the prohibition era Cabret Law was revoked in NYC.
